Massaged Kale and Avocado Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste

Instructions

  • Using clean hands, massage 1 bunch kale and 1 avocado in a large bowl for a couple minutes. This helps the kale become soft making it easier to chew and digest, plus it gets a little creamy layer from the avocado.
  • Add 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 lemon (juiced), 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast, 2 Tbsp hemp seeds, ¼ tsp salt, toss and serve.
